Was up early to get the greyhound bus to Las Vegas at 6am. We arrived at vegas at around 2 and checked out our hotel but was very unhappy to learn that for the whole 3 days we were at the hotel the pool was shut and reopened the day we leave!!! not good!!! We basically unpacked and then went out for a wander up the strip to see all the hotels and get some grub, we also bought a bottle of hypnotic as a treat. Caz won a tenner that night and got well giddy, see the pic and check out that smile! beginners luck that turned out to be. Gambled in MGM Grand, Xcaliber (where caz became a millionaire!), Paris and ended up in a small casino called Bills mainly due to the fact that they had 1 dollar margheritas :) . The next morning we went to a place called IHOP for breakfast (International House of Pancakes) which do the most amazing pancakes and crazy flavours, i had strawberry cheesecake and caz had egg nog but was sort of a vanilla cream. That evening i taught caz how to play pool and shes actually getting quite good now. We also went into New York New York and went on the rollercoaster there which was a let down, not scarey enough for us! Ended up in Bills again for many more margheritas. On the way home we walked past the bellagio and the water/light show was on but i told caz not to look because it had already started and i wanted to watch it from the beginning. Unlucky for me the next and last day in Vegas we had very high winds so the show was cancelled! serious bad boyfriend points for that 1 as its the thing to do and see in Vegas. The winds also affected our chances of riding the big shot ride on top of the stratosphere tower which i really wanted to do but as we learnt Vegas was an unlucky place for us....shame! We went to the mgm instead and had a look at the lions den inside the casino. Overall we both enjoyed vegas but would have enjoyed it alot more if the weather was good and we got to do the rides we wanted.
