Sooo Westport wasn't massively exciting, think the only reason the kiwi bus stops there is to give us a break with the driving to be honest! After what felt like forever, we arrived at Kaiteriteri which is this massive national park and really stunning. We had switched kiwi drivers on the ferry so were now being driven around by a girl called Lauren who was really funny & A LOT more fun then the dude before (who was actually her boyfriend!) After an amazingly relaxing and much needed night of the booze in River Valley we headed onto our lost stop in the South Island & the capital of New Zealand- Wellington. Our next stop was a place called River Valley which was gorgeous. It was pretty much in the middle of a valley in the middle of nowhere but had amazing scenery and a huge river in the centre of it. The lodge was really cosy and had such a homey feel to it as well.. just what we all needed after our epic night before. Our next stop after Waitomo was Rotorua, which is possibly the smelliest place in the entire world! They have lots of natural mud baths around the town which give off a very interesting smell..
