Arrived in Yorkton to be met by Troy and camped at Chris' beautiful home.

Left Calgary for Swift Current today. Enjoyed silos, canola fields, oil rigs, graineries, wheat and barley fields, alkaline pools and long roads. We also saw many wind turbines - great to harness all this wind. A little windy in areas but beautiful day. Arrived at Pondarosa Campground where we had a full hookup and are enjoying life. On to Yorktown tomorrow.

Beautiful trip through the Rockies but first we had to travel over a very narrow bridge just wide enough for the motorhome! Yikes! - thankful i had a good driver! Tried to go to Lake Louise but no parking available and there was a cloud cover on the glacier so kept on trucking. Set out July 21st for Vernon in our motorhome with an addition - a scooter so we can leave campsites and check out things in town. Stayed overnight in Don and Deb's front driveway. Went to Maharoba for Japanese dinner then enjoyed some patio time with Don and Deb (and Finn and Harmony). Left after delicious shakes by Don and headed to 3 Valley Gap for lunch. We headed out Hwy 1 up the Fraser Canyon to Cache Creek for lunch at Hungry Harvey's then on to Kamloops and up to Paul Lake where we parked at Paul Cowhig's lot for two days. We were too full for dinner so tried out our Apple TV on our motorhome tv and watched two net flick episodes of The Outlander. We also played Frustration where Ron was victorious twice!
