Beautiful trip through the Rockies but first we had to travel over a very narrow bridge just wide enough for the motorhome! Yikes! - thankful i had a good driver! Tried to go to Lake Louise but no parking available and there was a cloud cover on the glacier so kept on trucking. Dave Merrill advised we overnight at Calgary West Campground where he picked us up and we enjoyed beautiful appetizers followed by dinner at 1918 with Dave and Michelle. Lovely visit but poor Dave then had a 3 hour drive to work in Edmonton the following morning. Hopefully the weather was good for his travel - it became so windy here that we had to pull the living room slide in but had s great sleep as it calmed down and cooled off.
