Day Ten Brugge, Belgium-Awoke and dined down in the hotel dining room. Pretty nice spread for the price. Then headed out the door to do the 4 hour Steve's tour. We climbed the Belltower, visited a church or two and then hit the museum where the exhibit of Charles the Strong was showing. Lot's of tapestries and knight armor. It was now approaching 1300 and we had not eaten lunch. Tim wanting to visit a brewery mapped us to what he thought was the brewery. After walking back and forth for almost an hour, we finally found it! Enjoyed some stew and beer and then did the tour of the brewery. A very cool old belgian brewery. The orginal fermentaion tanks, coolers, mash-tins and brewing equipment is still intact and durign the tour of the 5 story building you climb narrow stairs up and down. Finally you are treated with a cool Brugge Zot beer. Earlier we had run across a wedding at one of the churches. I was reluctant to get to close, but after Tim had obtained some rice from a groomsman, we joined in on the wedding. Throwing rice, hotting and hollering as the band played. We then visited a chruch that held a Michelangelo staute of Maddona and Jesus, a pretty cool site. It was just a plain old church and here it had a this great statue. Having crushed the 4 hour tour, we decided to take an unscheduled trip to the North Sea. It was very hot and we thought that it may be nice to visit the sea! So off we went, heading to the train station our destination Oostende.
