Day 9 Brugge, Belgium- We hung with the manager of the Thaly's train system on the train and drank beer. We exchanged travel information and ideas with him and he told us about Brugge. Upon arrival in Brugge, we headed to the main square and canal area. After about a 15 minute walk we arrived at the square and I was amazed at all of the freaking bicycles. Thousands of bikes parked, being ridden and in random places. We checked into our hotel, a quaint place about a block off the main square. I was hungry as all get out by this time. Tim looking into the book of wonder decided to map us to a place recomended by "Uncle Rick." We ended up eating at a the first place I could find, a very nice steak house that served Argentina influenced foods. It was great! We then headed for beers and ran across a college kegger. Next we tried a hostel, of which Tim somehow pissed off a girl and the bartender and was told to leave! This was a tense moment and for some reason the girl and Tim just started off on the wrong foot, so we left, looking over our shoulders as we exited. Finally we stopped in at Disco palce, enjoyed a beer and then headed to the hotel for a goodnights sleep.
