Day 11 Our train was delayed by two hours and once we had arrived in Jaisalmer, yet again our taxi wasn't there to pick us up. We caught an Auto-Ricksahw to our hotel. Day 9 Staying in a lovely guest house, with a nice courtyard, which we're very happy about. Went on a city tour, with yt another man called Raj who was very enthusiastic. He took us to the Amber Fort where we had our Elephant ride up to the Fort Gates. We didn't enjoy the ride too much because the driver kept hitting the Elephant on the head with an iron stick. Day 7 & 8 After a journey that should have only taken 10 hours, we arrived at the 'stunning' Hotel Apollo 20 hours after leaving our hotel in Varanassi. Instead of doing our usual nap before heading out, we caught an auto-rickshaw straight away to the Taj-Mahal. Day 5& 6 We arrived in Varanassi, and met off the Train by our Taxi driver who took us to our Hotel! It was so nice compared to our Hostel in Delhi, very impressed. Day 1- Chaos, cow's and crazy driving! Our first day was an experience we won't ever forget. After getting to our Hostel by Taxi and Rickshaw, up the main Bazaar we spent the whole morning and afternoon sleeping, due to no sleep on the plane.
