Day 78- Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville

We got up early to wait outside for our pick up to the bus station. Rog saw the Tuk- Tuk driver form the day before and he was wearing the T- shirt that Rog gave him. Rog was really pleased he liked it. Once on the Bus we got talking to a Cambodian guy, he was really nice and quite talkative he gave us lots of good advice. Was our guide for much of the trip. We stopped once, and Rog had some nasty Cambodian meat, he’s decided to stop experimenting… we’ll see!!
On arriving in Sihanoukville we took a Tuk- Tuk to Serendipity beach, where we checked into GST guesthouse. We headed onto the beach where I got my lower legs threaded, it really hurt! Rog got talking to a boy who he bought a cotton fish from (weird), who then threaded 8 hairs from the top of his back-nice! The beach is actually really nice and seeing as it has quite a bad reputation we thought it was quite nice!
We spent the evening on the beach where we had BBQ food, was really nice, amazing seafood here!

Day 79

The plan for today was to get up early and head to the beach, this didn’t happen, think we are getting lazier. We eventually got down there about 11, had breakfast on the beach, and the lady from yesterday came back to finish threading my legs!! Rog read the entire history of Vietnam, I just sunbathed.
Had a nice lunch and spent the majority of our time in and out of the sea, really warm.
We spent the evening in one of the bars on the beach, and headed home about 1, think this was more due to our big debate on prostitution.

Day 80

Treated ourselves to a full English breakfast, this was absolutely massive and extremely satisfying. We walked into town, where Rog bumped into his mate Kazeem, a friend from back home, and arranged to meet in the evening for drinks.
The town was very disappointing, on our walk back it started to rain but luckily we found a nice little café/ bookshop. We stayed here for ages until I got bitten loads, although it was very relaxing.
Walked home and met up with Kaz and his mates for dinner, we had BBQ again for $3- bargain! Had a few drinks and went to a Casino, this was my first time and we won $10, look out Vegas. Free drinks in the casino not the greatest idea, but went onto a bar on the beach with everyone, lots of dancing. Wicked good night! Our night ended at 3am with a power cut in the bar- this was probably a good thing!

Day 81

I feel massively hung-over, feel a bit sick. We went and had lovely BLT’s then got a Tuk- Tuk into town to get some money, ended up back in the same café as the day before! It was raining again so not a lot to do here. Walked back to our guesthouse, but on the way back we got Season 5 of Lost downloaded onto our laptop, sad yes we are!! But amazing we watched 4 episodes before heading out for another Seafood BBQ. We really enjoyed Sihanoukville, the people were really nice and it’s beautiful, shame it rained.
