Hello to you both. Just thought I'd drop you a line as it has been an age since I have. The weather is fantastic here this weekend, although we are supposed to be having the worse storm for months tomorrow! No such problems for you in Oz I am guessing. Paul has moved out and is now living in Loughborough. He has bought himself a motorbike and seems happy with the world. The girls are always doing something, usually that costs money and involves us ferrying them around! Caitlin has just chosen her GCSE options because she goes to Rawlins in September. Can't believe it really. Both the girls are getting taller by the minute. Niamh is taller than me now and Caitlin towers above me - she is fast approaching John! It must be about time you put something in your blog so that we can all find out what you are doing - so just get on with it!!! Hope you had a good birthday Leann - I know it was ages ago. Happy Birthday to you Rob for Tuesday. Love Chatrina, John, Paul, Caitlin and Niamh xxx

Good day to you both,
Bloody hell, how lazy are we all? I cant beleave that I've not written since Nov let alone anyone else. Good job your mum & dad are on the ball Lee.
Its' been brill hearing from you this weekend. Matt came over for Sunday luinch, Elliott & Rach are stopping at her mums. He felt a little sorry for himself and left out as I had Nan & Gramps over and he was the only one not celebrating something. 2 x mum's - mothersday. Gramps birthday and Ian's birthday!
We've done loads since christmas; spent new year in Edinburgh which was brill. They party for 5 days not just the one night. Not an ounce of trouble, really well run. Home for 2 weeks then flew off to St Lucia for 2 wks. It was wonderful & relaxing and nice to get some colour. We didn't do so much this time as we've done most of the trips. We did take a cable car over the canopy of the rain forest which was brill and we also took the helicoptor from the resort back to the airport which was also brill.
Back home and back to reality. I've ordered a new car, a smaller one. New Mazda 2. Didn't want anything flash as I want to be able to put things in it and also put Elliots baby seat in it with out a problem. Just waiting for a delivery date now. Dancing is still doing well and Ian is expecting another Adams parcel in next week so it looks like I will be going into the warehouse again for a while.
Well how about that for a brief up date! I hope you get sorted with jobs soon and that oz is as good as you hope it'll be.
Stay safe both of you and love to Drew.
Love you always

Hi Both,
Thought I had better start up the message board again as you will soon be on the move again. Well just to let you know it is dark and rainy, typical January so that should make you feel good when you are lying on the beach ! We have not got the computer set up at home yet the office is a bit of a junk room but it will be nice when we get some furniture for it. Not much news to pass on really as we caught up on the phone on Saturday, except we are Billy sitting when it is your birthday as Wes & Lisa are going to London for the weekend. It is Lisa's 30th birthday so it's a bit special !! Dad's car is still off the road nearly a month now! it looks like the engine may need re building which is a real pain cos you know how much he loves my car ! Still he can't moan or he will have to walk ! Kiz & Steve will be moving into Steve's Mum & Dad's house at the end of the month which will be easier for them, there house is totally flattened now you can't believe how big the plot is ! It will be lovely when it is built. They will be able to fill it with loads of babies all as lively as little Jakey !
Well I am going to sign off now until I have some more news, so take care.
Love you loads

Hi both,
I can't beleave how long it is since i've written, no excuse for it as we have computors to hand. How are you both, and how is the camper van holding out. Must be great to have comfort on tap. Matt seems to think that you are changing your flight dates to oz from Jan to Feb. Elliot is getting so big, really chunky. I had her over night a couple of days ago while Matt & Rach went for interviews for the prison service. Hope all goes well for them as Matt is working around 65 hours per week. Bloody stupid. Dancing is still crazy and now is the time for the toy appeal of which I am now treasurer so at the minute i'm running around like a burk. We have had some incredable donations this year. One of my girls at dancing has managed to get me over £2500.00 of toys via her husbands work, all donated. How fab is that. Another girl has got her boss to buy 100 selection boxes. plus donations in general. So far, this year, we have nearly 900 children. Adrian is getting married on May 2nd up in Newcastle to a girl called Suz. I,m sure you haven't met her. They've bought a fab flat in the old Richard Roberts building in town. You wait till you see Leicester when you get back, you wouldn't reconise it.
The garden is looking rather bleak and miserable now and Ian is still a fine shot as far as the rats! horrible things. Still, they will never go away as he still feeds the 5,000. ( 78 ducks in reality ). Oh yes and one bloody big fat marmalade! Yes unfortunately it's still here.
Well both, I can't tell you how much we miss you, thank god for phones, text messages and emails. Please drive and stay safe. Keep in ouch so that we know that you are ok, even more so now that you are driving around on yor own.
Love you both,
Mum & Ian. xxxxxxx

Good afternoon both,
You're on one big holiday and I can honestly say roll Friday for ours. All is crazy here too, like your Dad & Marilyn we need this holiday, proberbly more than any other that we have had. Shouldn't complain realy, Ian has gone crazy again at work so I'm working there and then going to dancing which is going from strength to strengh. We had 145 girls this week. Bloody madness.
Here's one for you, dancing on the back of a lorry, yes thats us. Last Monday 12 of us did a charity day dancing on the back of a lorry at Dalby Day. It was a fab day. Dalby Day is loads bigger than you think it is. We ended up in the paper with yet more photos.
Have you both settled in to your new jobs and appartment and how are you both? How are the neighbours and staff, have you made friends with them. Are you still in touch with any of the crew that you've met on your travels?
I am going to sign off now and do some packing, if I don't do it now then I don't know when I will do it. I will try and write again before we go or I will text you.
Missing you both loads,
stay safe,
Love Mum & Ian. xxxxxxxxx
Dad And Marilyn
Sorry that it has been such a long time since I added a message. We have had quite a hectic time recently. All the pubs in S. Wigston seem to be closing down.
It's a double edged sword, the extra business is handy but the amount of dickheads who are coming in is dissapointing especially with the smoking ban which means we get loaads of people standing outside upsetting Leslie next door.
On a brighter note. We are off to Cornwall tomorrow, and are looking forward to a bit of luxury. We are going to stay in one of the most exclusive hotels in England. The Abbey.
It's owned by a former sixties supermodel, Jean 'The Shrimp' Shrimpton. We have stayed there before, it is fantastic, Shirley knows Jean very well, and she asked her if we would like to stay as her guest over the weekend. Will let you know how we get on.
The other bit of news is that I could become a bit of a film star. Somebody I was talking to at Glastonbury has got in touch, they are making a film about odd characters who went to the festival and what they do in their normal lives.
I cannot remember quite what I told them, but they seem to be under the impression that I am a naturist!! I am thinking of joining a gym and having a bit of anal-bleaching, what do you think? They reckon I will get paid as well. Will keep you posted.
Finally, we have been offered a job running a bar in Bejing. One of Simons friends Mother lives there and is going to set up a club for all the expats who live there now.
£70,000 a year net. A house with pool etc. Two flights home a year paid for and as much dog as we can eat. Not sure about the last bit.
Quite a bit to think about while we are relaxing at The Abbey.
Everybody here is fine, All the kids send their love. Hope that you are settled in to your new place.
We will speak to you soon. Lots of love Dad and Marilyn xxxxx
