Yes, I know, ages since I've written, no excuse as we haven't been away yet. Thats in just under 4 weeks time. Ready for it, going to Menorca as normal then St. Lucia in Jan.
Took Matt to walkin center today to get his finger checked out as he had a runnin with a blade at work. He has taken part of the top off of his index finger on his left hand, what a burk!
Got the new car in the week, Ian took Matt out in it today, it's faster than the RX8. We went to O2 last sat to see Prince, he was brill, doing 21 concerts and everyone is different. O2 building is a sight to see but crap in side it's wasted.
we went to Calke Abbey last night for a proms night with flypast and fireworks. Good night and yes, it was dry and warm.
Our little girl is growing so fast, laughing and chuckling away. We had her over night a couple of weeks ago whilst Matt & Rach went to a wedding, she's stopping this Friday night so they can have a night out.
Matt said that you Rob, had an interview for a job in a bar, how did you get on? Is NZ as fab as you both expected it to be?
Ask Matt about Rachels story in the New Woman mag, I've got a copy for you, it's about how Matt and Rach met plus a little more, I will let Matt fill you in.
Ian is carving the meat so I had better sort out the rest of the dinner. Take care both, we all love and miss you.

You were right it has been a long time but well worth the wait! So lovely to catch up in detail with what you have been doing, as a text or quick phone call doesn't do justice to your adventures.
Well it has at last stopped raining in the UK, Dad and I have been for a nice walk round the village tonight and at the Manor House there is an outside Shakespear play going on ' Much ado about nothing', so that was a novelty.
Must tell you that last week I caught Meatball with her head down my wellie so I quickly shut the kitchen door as I thought I bet she has brought in a mouse that's not quite dead and fled to safety in my boot !!! Anyway too afraid to go back in the conservatory I locked up and went to work. When I got home on her scratch mat was the hind legs and a tail of a mouse she had been toying with !! You didn't warn me about that did you !!!
Dad can't wait for the start of the new season West Ham seem to be signing every disruptive player in the Premier League ie Craig Bellamy & Kieran Dyer so if Curbishly can stop them fighting each other we may have a chance of doing something this year. Tottenham now have the biggest squad of English Internationals. Dad says still won't do them any good !!!!
Well ring us soon and let us know how you are doing.
Love you loads & miss you
Up the Hammers !!!

Hello both - we have just come back from our holidays - Messanges is the same as it ever was Rob, the square is still buzzing in the evenings and the beach and pools are great! All pretty tame in comparison to your fantastic trip though. Couldn't see myself climbing mountains - managed the Dune du Pilat (100m high sand dune) though . Went white water rafting and lived to tell the tale too! Back to reality and work now. Lovely to read your up-dates. Take care and keep on having fun. Love Chatrina xx (ps Paul has dyed his hair and had his eyebrow pierced whilst I was out of the country - both look pretty cool but don't tell him I said so)

Hi One and all,
What a fantastic trip so far, sounds like each day gets better & better. The Inca hike just sounds knackering but incredable. Can't wqit to see the photos. Not sure if it's my computer or a problem in general but your last lot of photos wont open up.
The rain here seems to have calmed down ( fingers crossed ). There are so many people that have lost everything across the country. Unbeleaveable! We in the midlands got off lightly but the lake is overflowing!
We finaly got the car back last Thursday. Ian has now lost all faith in it and is looking for a new car. It wont be a sports car, he's not sure what he wants.
I met Rach and Elliot Friday morning, she's so gorgeous, smiling away. Ian & Marcus went butting last week, they only caught 7 fish, rubbish, but Ian said that the estery has completely gone, he was stunned, he's been going to the same place since he was a lad and has never seen anything like it. Just shows you how the sea changes our coast line.
How's the tooth now or lack of it, I hope to god you dont get another infection in it.
Things are much the same here, not much else to tell you.
Love you both very much.
Stay safe and warm,
Mum & Ian. xxxxxxxxxx
Dad And Marilyn
Hola to you both and your travelling companions.
Just about recovered from Glasto and Marilyn has just about recovered from the house of the six demanding children.
Glastonbury was probably the muddiest ever, according to the veterans. The increase in the number of revellers also added to the chaos.
Some of the highlights were The Who, so much effort went into their set, and they were obviously really enjoying themselves. The hairs were on end and the throat was full of lumps when they played See Me, Feel Me. Hearing 120,000 sing along it was definately a Glastonbury moment.
Another one was meeting Sting. Well not exactly meeting him. I was sitting having a cup of tea at about 6am after an all-nighter trying to convince myself that the other people in the tea room were not betting on how long it would take me to slip over in the mud -at least that was what the big red dragon who had befriended me seemed to be implying- when in walked Sting. I leapt up and joined him at the counter, I introduced my self in what I assumed was English, but as 'Puff' the Dragon told me later was nothing of the sort. Sting gave me a withering look and hissed 'Don't stand so, don't stand so, don't stand so close to me. Miserable sod.
The mines sounded very interesting if a liitle hairy, the Salt hotel also sounded wonderful did you ask 'Tiene la pmienta' at dinner?
I also frightened off Romeo from the Magic Numbers but not before Lunny made him have his photograph taken with me.
Sorry you did not get the reserved place in Cusco, the lying bugg er s lied to me.
Coca leaves, could they become an altenative to nitrous oxide next year?
Nice to see that you were able to pamper yourselves before the Inca Trail.
We are looking forward with much anticipation to the blog.
Stay safe.
Lots of love from all of us here. xxxxxxxx
Dad and Marilyn.
