Just had a quick look to see where you are. The sky dive looked awesome. Glad you enjoyed the luge - a regular pilgrimage for us when down in Rotorua. Hope you haven't been washed away in the rain in the last few days. It has been bucketing down at the Kanohi Hilton. Having to cross flooded roads to go and from work. If you think the North Island has been quiet then you really have something to look forward to in the South. Queenstown may (only may) be the exception. See you in a few weeks

Howdy, just a quickie as I am at work for a change. Holtwood got spanked 7-1 at the weekend by top of the league Burham, they were a good team but not that good, 3 goalkeeping howlers from Russell did not help but hey, as long as we dont lose our last game 2-0 then we will finish 4th which is not bad and then onto re-building for next season.
The boys are out on the lash tonight big time so looking forward to that

Extreme Sunday (Grays Sporting Review)
sunday turned into extreme sunday as not much else was going on in rotorua!! a morning off archery and clay pigeon shooting followed by an afternoon at the luge run it was bound to end in tears! this was followed by mild monday in taupo with a hottly contested round of crazy golf with a great forfit for the loser! will explain tomoz! results as follows:
archery rob 11/25 steve 13/25 gray 21/25
clay pigeon shooting rob 4/20 steve 4/20 gray 18/20
mild monday crazy golf rob 56, 12 over par steve 74, 30 over par gray 49 5 over par
oh dear steve!
the luge run was excellant fun, starting with a cable car ride to the top of a mountain where you found a rather attractive safety hat! (photos coming soon!) and a plastic tea tray with wheels. we were told we had to go down the scenic route first which we thought was going to be a bit lame but it was actually pretty good. down to the bottom of the mountain then a ride in a chairlift back to the top! at this point it chucked it down! theres not much protection in a chairlift! we got a right drenching and the lift was almost asthmaticly slow. now for the intermeadiate run this was getting pretty quick with some pretty steep drops but still no one got hurt, back on the chairlift que the rain again!! now its the big one the extreme run we all set of pretty close but steve was away like a rocket he will have to carry some ballast next time! he pulled out into the lead...... and straight of the track into the muddiest bit of the mountain he could possibly have hit!!! lots off laughing from me and rob at the finish then a few minutes later steve rolled down with half the mountain in his luge and mud everywhere! we have photos! the las trace was also a pretty close afair with steve taking an early lead and me managing to secure second by stuffing rob into a wall! racing line my arse! good fun was had by all and the campsite made a fortune in laundry costs for steves muddy jeans. steve forfit will become clear after our next update!

YA CANT GIVE A BABY BOOOOZE!!! Howdy ho peeps, soz its been so long since me last message but have been trying to catch up on me emails n stuff!! Hi to anyone from the tucan tour who might be reading this.....and thanks Lozza and Rosie for leaving messages, miss ya loads already!! Anyway, were all having fun in New Zealand even though its not the most happening of places at night. They just dont get the whole "go out and get absolutely battered" culture like at home, which is a bit annoying!! Its all about extreme sports....jumping off buildings and rolling down hills in big hamster balls etc, which we are gonna start doing from tomorrow when we go 4 wheel drive buggy driving in the mud which should be ace!! The day after that we should be in Taupo where we are gonna do our sky dive, i cant wait for that!!! One annoying thing is there are NO WOMEN!!! What is going on? I had high hopes for fit kiwi girls and bus loads of swedish back packers here but the men must out-weigh the women 10:1 or summin.....SAUSAGE FEST!!! Moving swiftly on. So far we have driven Susan (our camper van) up to Robbies parents friends house where they treated us to great food, great beer, great beds and a kool power boat ride round the bay which was brilliant fun. Thanks again Pete and Jill!! When we left Pete and Jills house we ventured further north to the bay of islands....very beautiful place with about 150 islands dotted about the place. We took a boat ride around the islands and saw loads of wild dolphins...that was amazing......gonna go swimming with them soon, even though Gray has and odd fear of them!!! Errr what else have we done\/ Oh yeah then we drove up to 90 mile beach which, does exactly what it says on the tin....its a beach....thats 90 miles long.....bit of a waste of time that one but still. Today we went to "one of the top 10 thermal spas in the world" which was nice and were all feeling a bit too relaxed now. DAD - great to hear your having a good time on ya hol, bet the diving is ace!!! We'll do that soon enough! Gem, great to hear from ya chuck, just read your email, will reply soon x x x
