16th Jan and I am sat at the airport waiting to check my bags in. . . Beachcomber continued much in the same vein, pretty much doing nothing, keeping out of the sun, etc. I enjoyed the company of the guys, Kieran, Michael, Craig, Gavin and Gavin’s friend Anna. Had a good laugh with them both day and evening, we played crazy golf on the resort, Volleyball, some drinking games and lots of poker. . . I have enjoyed my time in Fiji, it has been very chilled out and relaxing. . .

Also met a lot of other nice people from around the World. . . Nice Canadian girl (Heather), some other Canadian guys, one of which was excellent on the guitar and played most nights late. . . A German guy (Marcel – very cool) and a good mix of Scandinavians. . . On the last night there were quite a lot of guys on the island and not many girls, so watching the guys try and get the attention of the limited girls was very funny. . . A Swedish girl turned up and was quite pretty, she was only 20, but was lapping up all the attention. . .

The last night was also amusing watching the young Norwegian guys drink far too much and make a mess of them selves. . . Yeah yeah, I know, I have been there and done that myself, but still comical to watch. . .

So Vinaka Fiji (Thank You), it has been emotional. . . . Maybe a little too hot, but very friendly and very beautiful. . .
