Well, it’s now the 14th Jan and I am at Beachcomber Resort (the party capital of the islands) hmmm, my arse! Not that I am complaining. . . .!

They are however a little more up to speed here and have a few computers, so have managed to quickly check my emails and send one to the family. . . Checking my journal message board, much to my relief proved that the message got through that I was ok as my sister posted a comment to everyone! (Thanks Chel).

So beachcomber has a mix of people, but more younger people, which are quite funny to watch. . . . I latched onto to a few lads, a couple of guys from London, an Australian guy, a Norwegian and another English guy. They are harmless enough, but it does show my age! I played a bit of Volleyball late afternoon (The most exercise I have done in a while). Then chilled and showered, then drank some beers and played poker with the guys til about 2.30am. . . We played for beers and I was happy to win the last game, so I have a few beers in the bank!

The other evening entertainment was a show from the natives, a kind of tribal dance as well as the Bula Dance! There is a band here that play a great mix of music, plus a good sound system that plays a wide range of music, so I am relatively pleased to be here!

Didn’t have the best nights sleep, but still made breakfast. . . Then chilled back in the dorm and got my journal up to date ready for when I have Internet access again!
