Yo. . . . ! Just a quickie. . . .

Well, I didn’t oversleep this time, I managed to get a reasonably early night after chatting with my family for a bit, which was really nice! I woke up at 3.50am 10 minutes prior to my alarm, so got up and finished packing my bag. . . . Had an ice coffee while waiting for the bus to the airport. . . Nice easy 2 an a half hour flight and here I am in Cairns. . . . Very nice place, chilled out and sunny!

Got to the place I am staying, Bohemia Resort:

Couldn’t check in to my room, so chilled round the pool, had a swim and then fell asleep. . . Burnt my belly a bit in the sun, Doh!

Checked into my room about 1pm, quite spacious with only 3 beds, so happy with that. . . . Spoke to the girl on reception about an Apple shop to get my iPod changed, but she sent me to the wrong place, so I had a nice 30 minute walk in the wrong direction at the hottest point of the day! Thanks!

Headed in to town and found an Apple outlet. . . .They couldn’t swop out my iPod, just send it back for a replacement, so fingers crossed it gets here before I leave?!

Had a mozy round the city and found a very nice public pool area (They call it a lagoon?) next to the muddy beach. Jumped in there and got wet then chilled out on the grass and fell asleep (I think). Did a bit of shopping, got a new Pink shirt and a T shirt, so feeling cool again. . . . May need to throw some stuff away?!?!

Just sat in P J O Briens now and I bet you can’t guess what I am drinking?!?!? Yeah yeah, the black stuff. . . . hmmmm, very nice it is too. . . . May have another before heading back to get showered and changed for tonights events. . . . Sorry guys, didn’t I tell you, yeah there in a pole dance competition, no no, I am not taking part, I did that in Prague. . . ooops, did I really say that?!?!? Hahaha. . . . No, tonight, I will just watch. . . hmmm, hard life this traveling business!

So, ciao for now. . . . Need more Guinness!

Hello again. . . . Went out last night and had some really nice Thai food, although I ate too much, as ever! Still managed to have a few beers, well, quite a few actually because I got chattin to a couple a English lads and ended up havin a few beers with them, then met some more English and Americans, some the partying begin! Stayed most of the night in P J O Briens and to honest the pole dancing was a bit crap, not that I was really bothered anyway?! We then ended up in a club called the Wool shed (I think) and I was able to show some of my dancing moves. . . . Yeah baby. . . . !

Got booted out there at about 3am, so headed off home. . . . Ended up walking past my place, so had to come back, doh!

So, up bright and early (10am – hahaha), showered and off for some brekky. . . . ! Well more like Brunch. . .

Had a cool chilled out day. . . . Went for lunch at P J O Briens and had a lovely pint of Guinness and Barramundi (fish) and chips. . . yum yum! Then went and did some more shopping, stuff is so cheap here. . . Got some shorts, some board shorts and another top, plus some sandals. . . No no, not them savage leather Jesus type, some coolio Nike ones. . . . ! I then headed to the Lagoon area again and bumped into Ross and Mikey, the guys I met on the last trip up from Alice Springs to Darwin. . . . They are here in Cairns also. . . Small world hey? So, chatted with them and chilled around the pool all afternoon. . .

Just checked my emails and stuff and chatted to Sofie online . . .Bless her. . . ! That was nice, but going for my intravenous drip of Guinness now. . . Off to Cape Tribulation tomorrow. . . so Will get you some more gorgeous photos. . . And maybe some more crocs. . . Criky!
