Saturday 20th November

We got up fairly early and went for breakfast. We were feeling rather adventurous so we decided to take the local bus to Sigatoka which is the main town. It took about an hour on the bus, the bus journey was an experience in itself...me and rob were the only white passengers on board which was a bit intimidating and we did not know when to pay. We got on the bus and Rob offered money but the driver just ushered us to sit down, and to get off we weren't sure how you tell him to stop.lol. but luckily a young guy informed the driver to let us off in the centre of town. Once we got off we were greeted on the street by a lady who worked in 'Jack's handicrafts' this is the main gift store for tourists and it was brilliant :) we got quite a few nice pressies from here! After shopping we then had a walk around the food market.....safe to say it was not very appetising! the fresh fish looked yummy if you were happy to eat it covered in flies and bugs....and as for the fruit that was no better! We then got the bus back to Mango bay and chilled for the rest of the afternoon before going for dinner!

Sunday 21st November

Our final blog entry! :( We had to be up and out for 10am so we have left our bags at reception and we are just going to chill around the resort until 3pm. We are then getting a lift to a port not far from the airport as we were given the heads up that Nadi airport has nowhere to eat so we are eating at the port and then getting a taxi to the airport. We have a long journey home, our first flight leaves today at 10.50pm, and as we cross the date line we go back in time (time travellers!) and arrive in L.A at midday today! very confusing.lol. We will hopefully be back at 2.40pm Monday 22nd!

So we will take this time to say thankyou so much for following our blog....it has been so great to be able to read your messages along the way! We have had such an amazing time, but we really look forward to seeing you all now :) Lots of love Leanne and Rob xx
