So, we think its time for the next instalment of Rob amd JF's travels!

We are currently in Sapa, Vietnam……, er no wait make that Kunming, China. Well the smarter of you will know that's a long way from our Thai adventure.

We arrived on the beautiful island of Phuket and made a beeline straight for the beach of Patong. The beach here was one of the hardest hit by the boxing day tsunami of 2004 and it's amazing to see how the area has recovered. And how it has recovered!! After spending yet another colassal amount on yet another romantic style meal (this is worryingly becoming a common theme!) we hit Pantong's main strip - the craziest place you will ever find. Ladyboys as far as the eye could see, go go bars, cheap booze, amazingly hot Thai women (which hopefully aren't really blokes called Dave), clubs, loud music and a lot people enjoying themselves!

Within five minutes JF was accosted by a ladyboy who proclaimed "hey sexy, where you wanna go?". He/she then began to attack him aggressively upon refusal of his/her offer. We were then persauded to play games, re: buy drinks for two Thai girls at a bar they worked in, while absorbing the atmosphere. Ten drinks later, a weeks budget gone, a photo taken with a big lizard, and JF locating yet another Dane (who on reflection was more than likely a Paedophile) it was almost time to call it a night… "Good guys go to heaven, bad guys go to Patong".
