Hello Arrived in Ha Noi yesterday evening after a short flight from Vietiane. Found a really cheap guesthouse in the Old Quarter near the Lake. $5 for a double room with air con, fridge etc including breakfast. It is crazy here. You can tell it is a capital city. Motorbikes everywhere and they dont stop - you have to walk out slowly in front of them and they steer round you. Very daunting but getting the hang of it. Had a chilled day today. Went to a lovely bakery for lunch and then for a coffee by the lake. Its really hard work this travelling! We are spending a few days here to hopefully catch up with some friends and then heading to the North to trek with them. Hope everyone is ok. Take care Xx
