Hello all Arrived in Vientiane today by local bus which broke down unsuprisingly. It is much better than a tourist bus though as you get to intergrate with the locals (plus their vegetables and small furry animals). Arrived in Luang Prabang last night and was totally blown away with it. What a beautiful place, with such a chilled and quiet way of life. A lot better than the Thai city's we have come from. We are staying in an amazing guest house which is laced with polished wood. Yet again we do not want to move on but we are gonna stay here for 3 or 4 days then head up north to trek back down. Similar to what we are doing in Vietnam. Hopefully the rain we have at the minute ...
