Hi!!!!! hope your all keeping well!!

Stephen and i are both doing well!! we're in Bangkok at the mo, its really good, im loving it!! it took us a full day and night to get here, as we got a sleeper train from Penang!which was so cool, altho they did make u go to bed kinda early on it, but i just found it so funny!!it was weird waking up on the train as well!! hehe!! as soon as we got off the train we had to get the metro on to our hostel, although we got off it too early and therefore had to walk for ages, which is really not good with our backpacks, especially in the sweltering heat!! just to make it even worse, when we stopped to check the map, a random guy came up and asked if he could take a photo of me, which of course i automatically refused to cos thats just pervy and why would he want a photo of me anyway!!! but he kept on asking and eventually got stephen to take 1 of me and him, so he could send it to his friends - how rare!!! and how random!! i laughed so much at it later, but i just wasn't in the mood for him at the time!! hehe!! i could just imagine the caption he sent with the photo - "look at me and the tall freak!" hehe!!

That evening we went into the central area, Koh Sahn, but we were'nt really impressed with it that much!so we haven't been back to it since!!it just reminded us of a typical Spanish resort! the next day we went to see the Grand Palace and the Buddhist Temples!we got an express river boat to it, which was pretty cool! when we got there i was told that i couldnt go in cos i was wearing a vest and therefore i was exposing my shoulders, which was a sign of disrespect, so they were hiring out clothes, which most people had to get!! i dont think i have laughed so much when i saw what they were giving me...it was a massive blue shirt - o my goodness it was so funny! you'll have to see my 'sexy shirt' in my photos!! i bet you will all be jealous - its so ridiculous!! anyway the temples were amazing - they were so ornate! that was a fun day!!

For one of our days here, we decided to do something different, away from the city, so we enrolled at the Bapai School for Thai Cookery for the day!! it was loads of fun!! i made a three course meal, and it actually tasted really nice!!hehe! for starters we made spring rolls with a sweet and sour dipping sauce, for the main course it was green thai curry and then for dessert i made an egg custard-which sounds really gross, but i loved it!! thats probably been one of my best days here!!

Also today we went to the weekend market, which everyone kept telling us to go to. It has to be one of the biggest and weirdest markets i have ever been to!! its absolutely massive-theres 1500 stalls, and its so random they sell practically everything - including animals - really cute puppies (i was so tempted to buy one, even though its horrible they're selling them that way, in really small cages-but they were so cute!!) im such a sucker!! they also had rabbits, which were dressed up in dresses - how cruel!! but yea it was a pretty amazing place!! it was just slightly too warm for my liking - it was really intense - although i didnt pass out!! gooo me!! hehe!

Anyway im having loads of fun here in Bangkok, hope your all having fun as well!
