Just pulling over at a Mobil gas station for bathroom breaks and gas after an 8:30 am start to the day. We toyed with the idea last night of getting home in a day less than planned, but will have to see how far we get. I don't want us all to get home exhausted. I am now officially on strike from fast food, going without any lunch as McDonalds unexpectedly turned into an emergency pit stop and almost everyones' thoughts turned to lunch. Oh for some Danone Creamy Vanilla yogurt and some fruit and a big salad. I am eager to get home to our house and am all in favor of getting there as quickly as the kids can tolerate it. James will be cutting the grass while I make a school lunches grocery run and then the madness will continue with the attic bathroom completion and prepping for Disney. We are currently stuck in backed up traffic on the highway that continues as far back and as far frontwards as the eye can see - oh for a hotel....even some hokey budget inn...anything but this. Luckily we have a DVD player and a cooler, but I feel bad for all these other cars. It has been 45 minutes, giving this traffic the big gold star over all other traffic on our trip. After being stuck in traffic for over an hour and a quarter, we pulled off at the first possible exit (which we crawled to) and made our way into Clearfield where we immediately headed to the Holiday Inn Express like bees to honey. Luckily this hotel is as amazing as it is: smells great, posh decor, big beds, great price tag at $104.00 plus tax, and a pool, and thus you will find the Campbell Five happily flopped about in room 326 watching the Disney channel and contemplating supper. No photo for today, so posting another shot from Holly's BP gathering.
