After enjoying a lovely hot breakfast of cheese omelettes and cinnamon buns, we headed back onto the road. We made a brief stop for some gas and some postcards and then we came to the very quick realization that James had forgotten his self-promised coffee from the hotel breakfast bar, and thus, we secured this as well. Today's driving time seemed to lack in excitement after having been spoiled yesterday by the exploding toilet paper, however we perservered and had a quick lunch at McDonald's. The most stressful time today was when I happened to glance over at the gas gauge and quickly pointed out that I was fascinated we were on the highway on a flat empty gas tank. We took our van in a hurry to Speedway for a long overdue drink and some snacks and let our radiator fan continue to throw it's second to second temper tantrum (manifested via loud rattling and banging noises) and attract notice from other drivers.
