Wednesday 1 November 2006 - Darwin

Last full day in Darwin we decided to go and visit the museum. Took a little longer getting there than anticipated as we missed our stop and had to cross the road and get the bus back!

Had a quick look around at the Australian wildlife and learnt all about Cyclone Tracy.

Managed to blag some tickets for a free dinner at the Vic pub, all going well until they told us to go and sit with our Oz adventure group! Nice food and managed to sit in the corner and go un-noticed!

Thursday 2 November 2006 - Darwin to Alice Springs

Missed our shuttle ride to the airport so they had to send a taxi for us, but we made it to catch our flight to Alice Springs.

Landed in Alice and experienced Aussie rain! Got our stuff together ready for our next tour and had a BBQ dinner at Toddy's Backpackers. Had people banging drums (literally) all night o/s the door!
