Saturday 25 November 2006 - Manly First trip to Darling Harbour then ferry to Manly! Sat outside and just watched Sydney go by, very slow ferry much to the annoyance of Sarah who thinks Seacat is the way forward! Got to Manly Beach where Paul went for a swim. Dinner then back to North Ryde for a night in the RSL (Australian version of the British Legion!) Thursday 23 November 2006 - Job and Flat Hunting Sarah & Paul off to work leaving us to get acquainted with Dennis & Milo - soon we were the best of buddies! Off to explore Chatswood - Ellie to sign up with job agencies, Rita to shop as she was all ready to start work on the Monday with Sarah at CHEP. Wednesday 22 November 2006 - Sydney Arrived in Sydney at 8.30am very tired and cranky after a sleepless night on a coach! Blastered backpacks were so heavy and it was scorching already so happy to dump them and explore the busy city for the morning! Walked the length of George Street finally arriving at Circular Quay but was worth it to see the spectacular view of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. We were in Sydney!
