Beachcomber Island Monday 21 August 2006 Our departure from Robinson Crusoe was highlighted by a fairwell ceremony from the Islanders including Kevin, Brian, Michael, Rachel and Francois (trying to shoo us off the island! Obviously pretending!!) Made our way to Beachcomber Island and was show to our 84 bunkbed dorm!! Afternoon was spent sunbathing (again!), then got ready for happy hour! Met some additions to the group, Siobhan & Sam (Dublin) and Wilson (Canada). Night was spent drinking and dancing on the sand filled dance floor. Joined in the Bula Dance (Macarena syle dance with lots of Bula!!!) Tuesday 22 August 2006 Yet another day of sunbathing! .... Then set off for the 10 minute walk around the Island, not quite making it with it being high tide! Nevermind! Evening of Fijian entertainment, firedancing, dance competitions and even more Bula dancing! Lucy winning the Rock & Roll dance competition, winning champers for the group!
