Thursday 27 July 2006 - Hollywood, Los Angeles Arrived in LA at 10.30am (another 3 hours behind which didn't help on no sleep - but Hey we're in LA! HI FIVE!) Didn't think we were going to make it after Rita's interigation by customs. Didn't help when she got muddled up on dates and confused her left hand with her right for finger printing! Traumatic experience - nasty *******! Got back to Rita's uncles' which much to Rita's excitment was in Orange County! - Ellie finally clicked on! (The OC!) We were given 10 mins before we were back on the road on our way to Hollywood Boulevard! Quick stop for lunch for some 'mild' Indian treats - or that's what we were told anyway! Our mouths on fire! (Wirral MBC guys - next curry night Ellie will be having more than a Korma! Promise!) Followed the 'stars' along the Walk of Fame to the Chinese Theatre. Hopped onto the sightseeing bus - to see the sites!!! (more info to follow!!!) The best place to get a picture of the Hollywood Sign was from the Mall - made it, got 'a' picture.... before the camera died! Took a drive through Beverley Hills towards Santa Monica beach - a nice stroll in the sea, opportunity missed lots of baywatch style lifeguards in red shorts... and we had no camera (sorry Andy M) gutted! A walk along the pier and then was rushed off for pizza.
