Saturday 5 August 2006 - Yosemite National Park An hour late this morning as we were reminded several times by Thu Tam. Why we had to get up so early to see the Holy Tree baffled us, it was surely still going to be there a couple of hours later! Well we made it - it was a hole in the tree, but excited Tim Tam! Friday 4 August 2006 - Las Vegas to Yosemite National Park An early start (after an hour sleep) most of the day was spent travelling in the cramped van. Lucky we made it after Thu Tam thought it a good idea to attempt a U-turn in the middle of the desert nearly toppling the van! We all jumped out carefully and watched in disbelief as she continued.
