London Day 4 Buckingham Palace was the destination this morning. We had our Tube route all planned out and right as we got to the platform we were told the route had some technical issues. Day 3 Breakfast was served later this morning so we all slept in a little. I went for a run through Hyde Park. The weather and scenery were perfect for a run. Our first stop this morning was the National Gallery where we hung out with the likes of Monet, Van Gogh, Rubens and many others. Day 2 We all had a decent night sleep last night and woke up ready to go this morning. We started with a hearty (and not terribly heart healthy) English breakfast at our hotel. Our first stop was Westminster Abbey. We took the Tube and made sure we "minded the gap." Westminster Abbey was quite impressive. We're here! We arrived at the hotel about 2:00 this afternoon, London time. Got settled, went to a nearby place for fish and chips. Walked around Hyde and Kensington parks. Saw Kensington Palace and the pretty garden there. Had some yummy ice cream. It's now 7:30pm. Rob and Luke have crashed. Ellie and I are hanging on!
