Greetings from Sampa! We had a nice relaxing day yesterday. Went to Parque de Ibirapuera. Absolutely beautiful. Sunbathed to the max in 32 degrees. Locals are friendly, and helping us out with the buses etc. A nice man took us all the way to the park from the bus stop - quite a way. After the park, we decided to visit the irish pub - All Blacks. Spoke to our first Brit. He is a waiter called Joe - nice bloke for a cockney! Up till then the beer was 60p a bottle. Had 2 pints of Guinness each, then realised it was 13 Reias (3 quid)a pint. OOPS blew the days budget on Guinness!!! Cant think of a better way to spend it. Highlight of today - a trip to the bus station to buy tickets to Rio for tomorrow morning. Then to the internet cafe. But picked one with crappy computers and couldnt download photos. Went to a better one, obviously. Hard getting used to doing nothing. No rush to do stuff. But we're learning quickly!! Went to Ponto Chic cafe for breakfast to try their famous beef and cheese sandwich. MMMmmmm. Will attempt to get bus to Rio tomorrow. Will find out if we bought the right tickets or not!!
