Dec. 5 was the King's birthday so tons of Thai people were in Bangkok and celebrating. Lots of the people marching were wearing the same design in their uniforms. They had black pants long waistcoats and a big ball shaped helmet. The king is 84 years old but is not in very good health. After about 1 hour we got on a tuk tuk (a three wheel taxi with two handle bars to steer) and he took us to a world famous road called Khaosan Road. This road was a huge market that sold nearly everything! We had lunch at Subway then shopped or…"marketed". I bought a few things for friends but not much for me but that's ok I got a nice hat and some other stuff too. We got lots of fruit from stands on the streets and then we went and had dinner at a pizzeria. After dinner we shopped a bit more then we got a tuk tuk back but the ride was absolutely crazy!! The driver was constantly accelerating (pressing on gas) then decelerating (stopping or constantly slowing) on and on and on. A very bumpy ride and thousands of people on the road cause of the big birthday. Anyways after the quick and crazy ride we got to our hotel and went to bed
