Mr Lek picked us up at around10:00 and we drove to a cashew factory just to see what it is like there. We walked around inside for only a short time and within half an hour we were out(we got to see the roasted cashews being unshelled and pictures of the fruit and the nut). Mr Lek drove us to a big temple where they light firecrackers inside a little shelter in order to get the gods attention then they pray (about 10,000 at a time, no joke -- sounds like explosive popcorn!). There we saw how the religions work and us kids learned how to bargain for souvenirs. By the time we had left we had been there for one hour and we went to ride on elephants. The ride was very expensive but really fun! There was a bench holding us onto the elephant and a bunch of ropes tied to the elephant to make it as stable as possible(even though it was very unstable) every time the elephants stepped we held on for life!! Three elephants carried the seven of us. The ride in total was thirty minutes and after we fed the elephants bananas and sugarcanes. After that Mr Lek took us to a restaurant for lunch. We went to the bigger Buddha in Phuket which was absolutely enormous!!!!! 120 feet tall which trust me quite a few feet taller than I will be. Next up was the beach which was super awesome because the waves were about 2 m tall. My dad and I jumped through them for about half an hour then we made sandcastles. For dinner we went to a beautiful hilltop perfect view of the ocean and the sunset restaurant until… heat lightning came(lightning with no rain) solution: we ate inside. Right when we got back into the car it started pouring so we quickly rode home said thanks to Mr. Lek and went to bed.
Thanks for reading the blog!

Sitting, standing, lying down... Heat lightening - sounds pretty crazy! We miss all of you - it's wonderful to hear about your adventures!
