Having arrived we pitched our tent in the rain in a very expensive but ok campsite. By ok it's got everything but is a bit like butlins with a campsite. Also, they have a strange law here and throughout France that long shorts not allowed in pools a you an wear them all day but speedos fine! Of course I tried to explain no self reaps ing English man would be seen dead in speedos but they didn't understand.
Set up camp and made food. Dan found football pitch so very happy. Rained most of the eve. A couple of problems with Elsie that in trying to sort but it's only day two so I'm a little concerned! Each day we arrive at the next campsite I have mixed emotions. On one side I'm happy as wee made it but on the other I realise we are one day further away from home!
