After crossing the border by bus and doing the normal border formalities I jumped on another bus from the Malaysian border going to the capital Kuala Lumpa.

5 hours later I had arrived at the capitals bus station and jumped in a taxi to my backpackers. I was staying in the city centre and explored the city by foot. Kuala Lumpa is a pretty modern city with everything you really need. The city has a number of large shopping malls and good rail connection so getting around was very easy.

I took a trip up the Pretonas towers which is featured in one of the James bond films where you can walk from one tower to the other on a walkway connecting the two towers. The view of the city was quite good although it was a cloudy day.From Kuala Lumpa I took the overnight train to the Thailand border whilst watching the Petronas towers light up in the background which is an impressive sight in itself.
