9 Aug 2014On leaving Saigon one of the last persons I met was the person at the baggage check-in at Saigon Airport. The lady in front of me stared at the her screen for a while then looked at me and smiled. Congratulations Mr Wolters, I have just upgraded you to Business class for your flight to Frankfurt. I thanked her and asked why I had been given that privilege . She just looked up and smiled again and said with a soft voice.:I can see you have been to Vietnam many times, (she had been looking through my passport)we have some spare seats and you may as well use one of them, it makes no difference to us.
Great- it made a big difference to me.

Frankfurt is close to the Rhine river which runs from Switzerland all the way to Holland, so a pleasant start would be to follow it at enjoy the view.
I am now in Holland for a short time to see some friends after first collecting my motorcycle which again has been excellently prepared by my friend Rob.
Now..... which direction...North, East, South or West? The best thing is not to plan too much and let the weather forecast be one of the deciding factors.
