Exploring the known and unknown
Day 82
11 July
The consequences of a very late night which was fueled by a cocktail beer and champagne need no further explanation as the result early in the morning was predictable. My host was not very well and looking the best and as for me… well I did not drink that much and drank water in between so actually I felt ok.
I accepted the invitation to stay so I could catch up with some email stuff and my blog. I managed a ride in the area which has breathtaking views. I consider myself lucky to live close to the mountains but here this has a different meaning. The first mountain pass stats 1 km away and climbs 3 times higher than the highest place near Brisbane. The house I am residing in was previously a farm and completely recently renovated . It could easy be turned into a private guesthouse. (which it is now-I guess). So a quiet day and to relax a bit. Tomorrow I am leaving for Slovenia and Croatia.
I needed to buy some postcards to send away and stopped again in the town center of Wolfsberg , A funny thing happened. While entering the store the lady owner approached me walking in from the back of the store. She literally took my breath away- What have w got here? I said. I had the feeling I knew her but that was impossible as i had never crossed or stopped in this town before. She started to laugh. Again I recognized the laugh as well. After a few seconds of silence I knew who she reminded me of Meryll Streep, perhaps just the eyes, the look or something else. Another person may not have noticed, but I did. When I left the store i said Goodbye Meryll and she laughed again - the Meryll Streep laugh.
Wolfsberg: Wolfs - Berg
Did not see any Wolves but plenty of Bergs

Stefan Bulea Richard, are you still going through Romania? If so, do you still intend to go by my mother's? Have you got a phone number for us to ring you on? I see you are starting to enjoy the late nights... and the cocktails with champagne LOL. Regards, Stefan Bulea.
