We have had an amazing couple of days in Singapore. Saved our feet and bought a bus / boat pass for the two days as our hotel was right by the Singapore River near Clarke Quay. Arrived here on Friday. Hotel room not ready so Maureen persuaded John that sightseeing was the best thing to do. Getting ready for our big adventure down under. Not packed yet, but seeing friends and family before we set off on our holiday. Leave home on Wednesday evening and stay overnight near Heathrow. Fly to Singapore on Thursday leaving about midday.
