10/1/10 - day 32.

up at 10, showered(!) and decided to get my haircut. this was simple enough but when i was there they lady at the barber asked if i wanted a shave as well. and since i had got around to having one in about a week i thought yeah why not. so after trimming my beard, she got foam and a blade out, which i hadnt anticipated. she reclined my chair so i couldnt see what was going on and when she put me back up, i was kinda horrified to see she had crafted what, in my opinion, was an awful looking beard.i said thank you and them immediately went back to the hostel to have a proper shave and get rid of the monstrosity she had sculpted on my face.

went out to get some lunch and bumped into morgan and holly so they joined me for pupusas, after which i headed back to the hostel for some hammock and book time.

went out for dinner with don (canadian) and vicky (american), had a huge plate of nachos. the strip where many pf the places to eat are, are kind of depressing. because many tourists eat and drink there, lots of poor kids gather and ask you for money or any leftovers you have. apprently, nicaragua is the 2nd poorest country in the western hemipshere and the frequency as which you see this is a reminder.

when we got back i pretty much went straight to bed about 10ish.
