9/1/10 - day 31.

got up about 10am, the aussies were leaving for ometepe so said bye to them then went to have a nice shower to help rid me of my slight hangover and the sweaty feeling accumulated over a humid nights sleep. but disaster! there was no water! and nobody seemed to know why! knowing i couldnt have one made me want one even more so i was NOT happy! i was however rather hungry so although i felt skanky i went into town for food.

came back and still no water and i had to wait til 1pm before there was water and then it was little more than a trickle. got talking to an english couple staying in the dorm (ian and susan), and ian and i went for a walk to another small fort in granada where they used to execute people and keep artillery.

after we got back, sata round with other people in the hostel (all american and canadian) and the 6 of us all went out for dinner that evening. i had quesadillas. had a couple beers with 2 of the canadians (morgan and holly) when we got back to the hostel and decided to extend my stay another night as this was the kinda place i really felt like lingering. got to bed about 1am.
