14/2/10 - day 70.

got up about 9 feeling incredibly hungry for some reason. so i went straight out in search of food. im not exactly proud of what happened next but i dont regret my actions either. i spied a mcdonalds and had a sausage and egg mcmuffin and has brown. and i enjoyed it.

went back to the hostel afterwards and went up to the rooftop where they have deckchairs and a little garden, and read for a while. when i went back downstairs a while later i was delighted to find that not only did they have a tv but someone had fox sports on and they were builiding up to the arsenal champions league game! my lucky day! i perched myself on the sofa and watched it with an american guy who was actually quite knowledgable about the game, given his nationality. the game itself was a disaster for us but i enjoyed my rare moment of arsenal watching none the less.

went out after for lunch at a place round the corner that did my a very cheap but rather stingey portion of meat, veg and rice. so i bought some melon after from the market. went for a little walk around the town to try and shake off the arsenal game, pretty unsuccessfully, and headed back to the hostel to abuse their free net some more. i didnt wanna spend much time seeing antigua because i will be coming back here for my final couple days.

had unexpectedly spicy tacos for dinner, couldnt really enjoy though to be honest as with each mouthful i was hoping the spicyness wasnt gonna come back to haunt me!

went to bed about half 9.
