India and Nepal 2022
It is a Myanmar tradition to take time away each year to work and relax - a retreat. This year my partner organisation is going to Chaung Thar on the Bay of Bengal coast.
It's a laid back place used by locals and I really like the feel of this location by the sea. We are hiring a bungalow and we sleep three to a room.
Its strategic planning and my morning session goes really well and it feels good to be helping through the use of my knowledge and skills. This afternoon, we take a little boat to a nearby island, easily the most exotic place I have ever worked. Palm trees and sand if you get the picture!
It's certainly the first time I have ever been nipped by a crab in the sea whilst walking from a training event to catch a boat!
At sunset, I walk along the beach pagoda and take some photos which I really like. They are atmospheric and a wonderful reminder of a pretty special place.
