Well I've done it I've sailed the Whitsunday Islands. Now I'm sure they would have been beautiful, but unfortunatly for me and everyone else on the boat the weather was not on our side :o( Hence the lovely rain jackets in all of the photos!!! Luckily for me though I met some lovely people who were up for making the most of our trip. Infact we just acted like idiots for two days......its funny to see how easy it is to loose touch with reallity when stuck on a sailing boat for three days and you have to find ways to keep yourselves amused!!! It was like big brother on water! Just without the token camp queen and loud obnoctious blond! We did manage to go snorkling a couple of times which was lovely though just too cold to spend any great amount of time in the water! I do now wish I had booked myself on to a dive trip, then the weather wouldn't have mattered! Ah well never mind, it was nice to try some thing different. Luckily we made it round to Whitehaven beach (one of the top ten beaches in the world) and cos the weather was so bad we were the only ones there- COOL! It was beautiful and that was in the rain! I can imagine in good weather it would be blinding. When we got back we went out for a meal and a few drinks. I had a great night and just liked the feel of the place. So much I think I will try to find a job here. bye bye for now xxx
