mechanics appear and fully expecting to be told "come back tomorrow"things changed a jump pack appeared again the bike started and admid reports of ïts ok just flatten battery testing ride 50kms no stops"I left and carefully wound my careful way along the clogged streets with stop starting and no stalling first on my mind until I arrived at camping Castle View campgrounds near Mystras & Sparta for two days of relaxing times by the pool to do thid blog. Wrong no water in pool, no food and during day no electricity ( & WiFi) as "too early in season not ready for tourists before May 1st" but they had taken my money so no option well a bad review.
The next day I retraced my route back into Sparta and visited some ancient ruins and the museum before being the only person in the restaurant in town.
The afternoon saw me visiting the ancient walled city at Mystras which dominates the skyline at night as the wall and buildings are floodlight. I also ruled it out for a Greg visit as the winding road up and back has very few guard rails only a long drop over the moutain side. An early dinner at a local restaurant before riding back for the last night at the campground and my cabin accommodation.

Laura Ancient Ruins.....what a privilege to walk about in history.....lets hope that, what has been preserved from history, remains so future generations have the same privilege......interesting to say " to early in the season for Tourists" would have thought tourist we accommodated all year....something to think of if planning a trip .....no water....no food .... no electricity......really ?????
