Last day of the Inca Trail was a pleasant downhill stroll for a few hours - because we were descending fairly fast, the landscape changed so so quickly: suddenly so much more flora and fauna and (hurrah!) so much warmer...however, combine this with having picked up a cold, and you have near total...

So we watched England make life look difficult, and headed off enroute to Cusco - we knew we'd have to break our journey somewhere random. Didn't quite realise it would be as random as camping by the side of a road to nowhere. In the freezing (literally) cold. At 4300 metres.
