Just had our first day in Brazil. Its nice, the weather is a hot sticky version of Ireland in the summer, cloudy and spots of rain. It was about 28 earlier but there is a nice breeze from the sea so its lovely (have to get the weather out of the way).

Went up the Sugar Loaf Mountain for a look around, the views were epic!!! The city is built in and around mountains and it just looks amazing how everything is squeezed in, with the skyscapers on the flats and the favelas stretching up every bit of hillside they can. They look mad, all the houses are different colours! While we were up at the top of the Sugar Loaf, the clouds were rolling in, and at times our visibility was zero, but then it would break and you could see all around again. Took plenty of photos of the city (bit hazy cos of the clouds) but they should look good

Loads of other cool stuff happened today but Ive forgotten it all already, so has Regina.. oh well.... til next time.........
