Colleen & Tom's Explorations
Another wake-up call today - the seas were rough last night and we didn't sleep well. Shannon had a 9am manicure and Jessie had a tour of the bridge and met the Captain. We had a computer lesson this morning.
This afternoon's movie was "Circle of friends". Wonderful movie, but the book is much better.
The weather quickly detiorated from lunchtime onwards. I was getting quite alarmed (as usual) as we passed through a storm with very rough seas and force 8 winds. When you look out of the windows of the dining room on one side, all you can see is the sky, and when you look out of the windows on the other side all you can see is the ocean. Tom's not worried - this ship does this cruise all the time.
Afternoon tea was very nice and the water started to calm. We went to mass before dinner this evening and the priest commented on how "playful" the Atlantic was today. At dinner time we had a Queen's guard at the door (the ones with tall furry hats) and our photo was taken. Tim and Donna presented us with the menus from our days on board.
