A long time has passed since the Wild coast. Stopped in Knysna along the way for some fresh seafood and my very first oysters. Damn yummy. Also checked out Mitchell's microbrewery and quite enjoyed it! After the coast was time to return inlands to Oudsthoorn for guaranteed warm weather and friends. The next ten days flew by much too fast as did meet a special someone. Ek is lief vir jou my skat :x There is nothing as relaxing as doing nothing at all for a week, waking up late and making slow food, sipping wine. Not to forget being mommy for two affectionate kittens. Happy days :)
As they say all good things come to an end, so it happened this time as well as it was time to head to Cape Town to catch a bus to Windhoek. Met up with a few fellow backpackers in Cape Town for one last time and the hopped on Intercape for an agonizing 21h busride to the capital of Namibia. Arriving in Windhoek felt too good for words after the time spent on the bus. The city felt very cosy from the first moment on and took a walk to town straight after arriving at the Cardboard box bp. Now down four nights here and still doesn't feel any different from SA with all the same shops and hearing Afrikaans on the streets. Was happily reunited with my best friend two days ago as well, long time no see. She will probably get sick of me after the month we're going to spend together :D Well well, today catching a bus to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe :) Good times ahead, more details of the ventures another time..
