So we're back in Cartagena! After an interesting trip up the coast we have returned to this beautiful city to take a combined spanish and salsa course, as our Spanish is horribly bad and if that fails us we can communicate with some over energetic hip shaking. The Spanish class is really good- intensive and difficult but structured and hopefully we should pick up basic sentence constructs from it.
I found the salsa quite boringly basic and I'd done the three steps it took him 90 mins to teach the group lots of times before so am going to ask to move to a different one. Keo's just loving the moves..
So we're gettig food from the Market and cooking to try ad save money, and our stomachs which are suffering a little from excess of fried food and lack of vegetables! We went to an incredible fish restaurant last night called La Cevicheria- expensive for Colombia but the food came straight from heaven!
We had met up with Vanessa and Nicole from law school but they've flown to Peru today so we're back on our tod just chilling. We're in Cartagena until next Wednesday when we fly to medellin to do there and the coffee regions..
