Hello! As ive now been in sydney for over 3 weeks now, im running out of things too do! Still loving it though.....

We went to the beach (Bondi) again the other day, and started to play footy down hyde park, which is much needed exercise! It was Mardi Gras yesterday!!! ive seen some strange people in my time, but NOTHING compares to what i saw yesterday and last night! It was enough to give me nightmares!!!!!

We started the day off by buying 48 bottles, and planned to go down the park for about 12pm! Only me and sandy had alcahol, and so feeling like complete alcs we left one crate at the hostel and took one with us.....Everyone (apart from me, sand and alex) went out the night before so they were all hungover. It was soooo hot at the park, so we kicked off with a beer, and a game of footy, england (me, sand, and james) v the rest of the world (holland, scotland, canada!) England one.....obviously!! Then we chilled with more beer and food until about 5ish, when we went home, got showered, changed and headed back out to hyde park about 7pm. There were already thousands of people about. We just chose a spot and sat down, all we could see was people, if we tried we could see some of the parade, but not much! Oh well!!!! We could here elton and george being played in the background, which was enough for us! It was good to just watch all the strange people walking passed, and the atmosphere was amazing! i think there were about 600,000. You could also tell when a fight broke out, because you first heard shouting, screaming, then hundreds of people running towards it, along with police.....bottles and all!! something i didnt expect at mardi gras! We all left (there was about 15 of us in all) about 1am as nicole could hardly walk, so we took her back to the hostel, and went to scary canary for a few and a boogie! Before i knew it, i was wandering down george st at 3:30am for a kfc!!! :)

Woke up today, feeling........average! Me and alex went to the wildlife park, alex is obsessed with koala bears!! But having seen them, i have to admit they are pretty cool! Sandy couldnt be arsed, and stayed in and applied for......... A JOB!!! Saw the most rank spiders possible, and skippie, just general wildlife really! funny that! Got some food, and walked hime in the pouring rain, having a water fight on the way.....i won. Sandy made pasta and tuna! mmmmmmm. And now im here on the computer, sandys in the canary having a drink so i think im going to join him!! tara all xx
