Randy & Marilyn's Retirement Travels
Today we arrived on the Greek Island of Mykonos. This is another picturesque village with whitewashed cube shaped houses with either red or blue domed churches. There is a tiny church around every corner. The island is also known for it's old windmills. It's a very small island and easy to maneuver through on your own. But beware of motorcycles and tiny trucks on these small village streets!
The water is crystal clear and of course beautiful turquoise color. We walked through the village and took a local bus to "Paradise Beach" where we spent the afternoon. There were not many people at the beach so it was a very relaxing day.
