I'm having a really hard time uploading pictures from Cape Town, so sorry about that. Hopefully they will be up soon.
We were supposed to leave Cape Town at around 2300 last night but due to fog, our departure was delayed and we finally got underway at approximately 10:45am. We had a lifeboat drill this morning and that went pretty well, the neat part was that when we started the entire harbor was covered in fog and by the time we were done, the fog had lifted and we were soon on our way. A good thing too becuase the students were starting to ask to get off of the ship! Once again, last night was fun at the Gangway. My adventure this time was tracking down a drunk girl who had failed to turn in her passport. Once I found her, getting her to the cabin was fun. She was pretty useless and I had to turn her room upside down looking for it. The ship couldn't be cleared for departure until all passports are checked. During the final embarkation process, a choir from one of the Townships performed on the ship and they were amazing.
Overall, everyone had such a great time in South Africa. Back on ship! Next stop Mauritius!
