I'm having a really hard time uploading pictures from Cape Town, so sorry about that. Hopefully they will be up soon. We were supposed to leave Cape Town at around 2300 last night but due to fog, our departure was delayed and we finally got underway at approximately 10:45am. We had a lifeboat drill this morning and that went pretty well, the neat part was that when we started the entire harbor was covered in fog and by the time we were done, the fog had lifted...

Feb 22 - Skydive Cape Town and an evening at Camp's Bay On Friday, the day after I returned from the safari, I headed out to Skydive Cape Town to check it out and maybe make a jump. The drop zone organizes a shuttle from the waterfront area when Semester at Sea is in town becuase a ton of the students make jumps there. Safari was great and Cape Town is an amazing place that I will have to come back to someday. Way too much to do and not enough time! Sorry I haven't written any updates but being in Port is fun and I feel like if I have time to sit on the computer, then I'm not out enjoying this great city. I promise to write more soon. BTW...Skydive Cape Town this morning for jump #86. It was probably the best view of the entire cape area and definately of Table Mountain.

Good Morning...I am in Africa!!! We pulled in to Port in Cape Town about 0600 this morning and for the first time, I was up and out on deck at 0540 to see the sun rise over Table Mountain. It was really beautiful. I'm going to be off the ship very shortly and will be on Safari for the next 3 days!
